MKL galvanizing

Our hot-dip galvanising plant processing all zinc-coated grating structures is making use of the most modern computer controlled techniques and a dipping pot that allows the coating of surfaces with a length up to 15m and a weight of 8 tons. The software and the monitoring system control the efficient operation of the equipment and assure the highest standards in logistics, energy-related issues, and environment protection. The plant uses the so-called zero waste technology: all materials used and by-products generated can be reused and recycled.

The treatment of the steel structure surfaces is conducted within a closed space (house in the house technique), the zinc bath covered with a high-performance exhaust hood. The liquid zinc - central element of the technology - has been developed in the UK, it is a special alloy called Technigalva. Intelligent cranes and material handling systems ensure the transmission of products.

The incoming vehicles find spacious storage, parking and recreation areas and a production hall with five sections, including loading dock levels for trucks at their destination. Loading of goods is performed by using turning cranes with a forklift-type mechanism under radio control.
